The ICTP-EAIFR Institute, an ICTP Partner Institute, with a UNESCO Category 2 status based in Kigali at the University of Rwanda (UR) is pleased to announce the opening of three faculty positions (Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor or Professor).

The required qualifications are:

Education:
§ Ph.D. in Physics or a related field.
Work Experience:
§ At least 4 years of relevant professional experience after obtaining the doctorate (2 years of which in an international environment is an asset).
§ Experience in lecturing and organizing training activities. (this experience in a developing
country is an asset).
§ Experience in supervising and mentoring young scientists.
§ Candidates with experience in the use of high-performance computing and/or data-science
approaches in their research are strongly encouraged to apply.
Skills/Competencies:
§ Ability to work in a multicultural environment as part of a team.
Languages:
§ Excellent knowledge of English.
