ICTP-EAIFR will host a major scientific meeting to revive the African Physical Society. On two days--17 and 19 October--Africa's top scientists will meet at the ICTP-EAIFR Building (Former KIST2), University of Rwanda CST Campus, to revitalize the society and also pay tribute to its founding father, the late Francis Allotey. The meeting coincides with the inauguration of the ICTP-East African Institute for Fundamental Research. To celebrate, a ceremony will be held on 18 October at the Kigali Culture and Exhibition Village from 8:30 to 10:30 am.
