“Shut up and calculate!” – a phrase famously attributed to N. David Mermin – captures the pragmatic post-war spirit that propelled physics forward through focused problem-solving and interdisciplinary collaboration. At ICTP-EAIFR, this spirit lives on in through our Research Support Unit. It operates in close synergy with our teaching, research, and innovation activities—ready to respond, assist, and enable high research throughput.

 

 

Currently, we work to address the technological needs of domain specific scientific communities in order to enhance research and teaching.

We are actively involved in providing solutions to scientific computing & information technology needs, ensuring a high-performance approaches to problem solving, through internal and external collaborations.
